LONDON 2012 PARALYMPIC:
SEASON OF ENIGMAS
Nature’s unintended stigmas
In a society of stereotypes
Possessors of alien Genotypes
While others of manmade tragedies
Are availed physically challenged remedies
All of them endowed with disabilities
Conquerors of inabilities
With which they command ovation
As determined athletes of innovation
Greatness disguised is thrust upon them
For that which will not kill them
Will make them gods on their podia
And they shall not be denied euphoria
For whom God bless
No man shall vex
At the season of enigmas
London 2012 Paralympics
Paralympics meant to inspire a generation
A generation that witness the seemingly impossible
Impossible made undefined
They that have conquered fear
Fear that would make the stereotypes think, “impossible!”
Impossible that does not mean archers without arms
Arms, without which swimmers would do battle
These are the true champions
Champions over Life’s unfathomable battles
Battles they have fought and taken to London
London, the worthy host of dreams that can come true
Deaf Beethoven would have made us a song
A Song befitting of the moments of glory
Glory that cannot be denied these athletes
Athletes of this season of enigmas
