REMEMBER "YEKING," NIGERIA'S "KING" OF GOALS!
His name was Rashidi Yekini. Football or soccer was his trade. And for that, he was nicknamed "Yeking," a goal scoring king!
If my records serve me right, he was and still is Nigeria's national team top goal porcher. Yet to be dethroned!
He didn't have to mesmerize like Messi. Nor did he have to score from impossible angles like Kanu. All he had to do was be there when the ball was at the goal area and just score; something Yakubu Ayegbeni knows is not easy to do.
Much has been written about this king that my blog can never match. But here is this blog's reason for particular interest in the matter of his late highness... WHERE ARE THE VIDEO CLIPS?

Since the death of this king of goals, I have eagerly awaited compiled video clips on any of Nigeria's tv stations of this maestro to no avail. What would it take to have these clips dug up, dusted, compiled and produced for football loving Nigerias who still want to relish the good old days of the best of Nigeria Super Eagles?
What is the essence of having in a nation like Nigeria, a television network that chooses to boast as one of African's biggest, yet at a time like this, they just show still pictures and burial footages?
Everyone wants to talk about the mystery about his death with abated interest in seeing again those days that he was named and reigned king.
Let Nigeria's football industry fly their flags at half mast, not just for the death of it's king of goals, but also for the lack of true honour to his royal work of art.
